AluK started its activity in Southeast Asia in 1999 with as first project Hanoi International Airport. A local branch was then set up dedicated specifically to this region, operating from Singapore, and serving all Southeast Asian countries.

Major projects include numerous residential developments on Sentosa Island in Singapore (2010-2012), Azura World Trade Center, the highest residential tower in the heart of Danang city, Vietnam, completed in 2011, and the New Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building completed in 2009 in Malaysia.
